This Team Member will plan, coordinate, and conduct daily activities for our Innovations Memory Care community to meet their special needs and create moments of joy!

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote an Activities Program for Innovations Memory Care designed to promote the residents’ highest practicable level of engagement; providing varied activities in all required domains of well-being including social, physical, intellectual, and recreational activities in a planned, coordinated, and structured manner.
• Preparation of monthly Innovations Memory Care activity calendar within the guidelines and timeframes specified in the company standards and state regulations.
• Conduct and provide daily group activities to the residents of Innovations.
• Collaborate with Director of Innovations Memory Care to engage Innovations Team Members in the provision of activities to residents as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, GED
• Experience working with persons living with dementia is required.
• Prior experience in Activities or Therapeutic Recreation preferred.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Neat appearance, adherence to the dress code, and good personal hygiene are expected.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
